Injap Tower Hotel

I did not book myself on this hotel. Somebody else did, in error hahaha! But I already said my thanks for that error. At least, I experienced Injap. This is a good one. If I may summarize, this is a modernistic (meaning rooms are rather small), trying to look like a "budget hotel" though it is not, since the rooms are aptly and well provided.

Anyway, here are my takes:
lobby of Injap Tower Hotel
Front desk is very small. How small? If there were 4 of you, the whole place will be uncomfortably crowded. So your first impression is, ah kaya pala mura, budget hotel ito. Look, I could even see their documents! Those are (already) behind the front-desk staff.

Staff? Ah attentive, polite, friendly, knowledgeable.

My room was small compared to the usual old big hotels, but just enough for me..,

With a queen and a single bed. So this is good for 3. I think this is standard for all their rooms. BUT, definitely bigger than GoHotels. Bright and comfy too. Nice that they maximized the size of the windows to provide natural light and good views. And the interior colors, parang GoHotels nga, bigger and brighter lang. Wifi is good too!

Hep hep... this is where you can say "ah hindi naman pala budget hotel":..

There's a microwave, a fridge, coffee, bath robes, a full toiletry kit (that will make other hotels in Iloilo shy), safety vault, a laundry bag marked in their own brand, and even a utility sink. All of those are not to be seen inside budget hotel rooms! In short, porma and presyo lang ang "budget hotel style". On amenities, pang 3 or 4 star! This is more of a condotel to me. Hayaan na natin, nakiki-uso lang siguro sa "budget hotel look" hehe!

I did not bother checking out the spa, gym and pool as I was busier with roaming around the province. But especially on the latter, budget hotels don't have them, di ba?!

It's really just the lobby. Looks like a realty office or a travel agency. Functional, anyway!

Now at the 21st floor, the Horizon Cafe is something...
21st floor Horizon Cafe at Injap Tower Hotel Iloilo
This is probably the best venue in the city as of now! Its a fine dining setup with big black upholstered chairs on each table. Hindi tipid sa space. The views are fantabulous!

Sample views? This was my lunch table on arrival (first day)...

That area where buildings are in progress would have been the old Manduriao Airport. At least two of those will be hotels too, and one is to be a huge convention center.

Looking down from the same table... Yes, SM City Iloilo...
You only need to cross the highway via an 'overpass' and you can shop till you drop! Immediately beside that (left) is Plazuela where restaurants and shops also abound!

The other side of this floor is still part of Horizon Cafe but usually closed with a row of swiveling partition panels so it can be (well it is) a function hall. But I was privileged...

Mismo the restaurant manager accompanied me to that closed-off area, just so I could marvel at the rest of Iloilo City. OMG what a view! Every part of the city is visible!

I didn't know I was to be back here for the whole evening. But that's a "shhh" story!
