Han Gang Again

Image
Hey folksie-folks, I was back at this Korean Restaurant called Han Gang in Pusok, Lapulapu. Not that I crave for anything in this place, but, by virtue of proximity, this has been (and still is) is my go-to (best choice) in Pusok area! I went there tonight! This time I had beef soup and a cup of rice. Like their other authentic Korean dishes I have tried before, this one tasted oh so good. This is also NOT spicy, thus, I liked it. And, 'wheresoever' they get that from, the beef is of really good kind. For you my readers who are (like me), not (yet) too familiar with K-restaurants, if you are also wondering what those 'little dishes' are for, I only call them "the trimmings"! They're are the usual side-dishes this 레스토랑 serve together with whatever kind of main dish you order. Most of them I never dare touch. Why? Ayoko ng mahanghang! That cute bastardized word 'mahanghang' comes from my nephew, at ginaya ko na! Oi, there weren'...

From Resorts World To NAIA Terminal 2

Image
This ride of only about 5 kilometers, took exactly 26 minutes. Yeah, that long! Ah yes, the world-famous Metro Manila traffic hahaha! Yet, I secretly wished for this ride to crawl a little bit slower! I wanted to see more. This was nostalgia time for me! Resorts World Manila and NAIA Terminal 3 Were Part of Villr Airbase How and why is that? Well, in my younger years, I often passed via this vicinity. This area we were departing-from was part of Villamor Airbase (earlier Nichols Airbase), until a big portion was expropriated in 1995 to become NAIA T3 and Resorts World . I do still remember many things here. For example, diagonally across HIE is PAFAM or the Philippine Air Force Aerospace Museum . It is technically just across the road. But I don't even know now, if one can go there by just crossing the road, as there are now three flyovers leading to, or from, various expressways and urbanities like BGC! Well, if you can cross from HIE (Holiday Inn Express) or ...

Cebu To Clark, Going Panglao

Image
In just 6 days, here I was, flying from Cebu to Clark again, as transit passenger again, though not going to Boracay this time. I was on my way to Panglao Island, Bohol. Hectic? Nah, not really. I'm enjoying it! As they say... if you love what you do for work, it does not feel like work at all. True! But, why did I fly to about 700 kms northwest, when I was just going to about 84 kms southeast? Ah eh, I already mentioned in a previous story , that those circumstances happen when you know what to do! In fact, for this trip, I had not just 1 but 2 same-day flight transfers, and it was all worth the while! I flew Tacloban to Cebu to Clark to Panglao (3 flights) for a total cost of only PHP8,609 which already included prime seat reservations for each flight! That price is comparable to any other means. And if you're meticulous, you would have not...
