Tops Catbalogan Again
Keeping my word - because of the last line I said in my last article about the place. Just half a month, I was back at Tops Grill in Catbalogan! Had another meeting with some beautiful folks in the city, thus, I found another opportunity to go up the diversion road, and admire the views, during a sunless sunset! But I already said that in the previous story, right? That the setting sun can't be seen from this vantage because of this hill at right - which is - actually even an advantage for those who arrive before sunset!
And the clencher of this post is.., there is really nothing new hahaha!
EXCEPT (oh ha, meron naman pala).., there are newly-constructed comfy amenities like these huts!
There is even this wider roofed open house (with concrete flooring) with more sitting areas..,
There is now this 'mala-sala-set' hardwood furniture in one corner..,
And there's even this all-wood rocking chair. Yes, just like the "tumba-tumba" of your lolo and lola! Ah well, I asked the owners.., they do not have, therefore you'll have to bring your own "gantsilyo" and "pusa" if you want to mimic your "mi abuela" doing what she did best while seated on a rocking chair!
The original eating areas are still the same, just with additional wooden tables, chairs and benches.., Of course the Catbalogan skyline would have hardly changed (viewed from this far) in just a fortnight!
But hands down.., this was the most attractive addition to the whole compound (at least for me)! It's a swing! I sat there for a long time, even if I knew some youngsters were waiting for me to scram!
Of course, while deep in thought.., I wondered where the heavy wood made into these furniture came from. Is it allowed herearounds? Well, I think it is, since this is a public place where all them big wide slabs of heavy wood are seen (and used) by anyone. I don't know if these are part of those that can't be brought to the metropolis - dahil hinuhuli ng DENR along the highway! Wala akong balak anyway!
Until it started to get dark.., where we saw this lump of cloud sticking brightly out from the others..,Isn't that the way of nature? Yes, inanimate or not.., for the good or otherwise.., usually.., something.., somewhere.., somehow.., will stick-out and emerge obviously at odds, with the way of the nakararami!
And the driver said "sir, me dinner meeting ka sa City Grill at 6:30PM!
Haiszt! Ganda na sana ng muni-muni ko..!
