Seda BGC
"Social obligations" again, this time a life-event of a dear friend that I "may" not miss "or else"! Venue was somewhere at McKinley Parkway in BGC, thus, after weighing my circumstances, I found myself at Seda Hotel on 11th Avenue. Not that I'm complaining. Aba, it's been some time since I last trotted on metropolis pavement. So, this was one welcome respite for the probinsyano me to see the big city!
Less than 24 hours of stay, but, I got to see and appreciate this hotel. Here's the story..,
I arrived from Cebu in the afternoon and asked to be immediately whisked to Seda Hotel BGC..,At check-in, I smiled and thought... "aba sosyalin.., electronic check-in gadgets ek ek"! Just like the big 5-stars, your data are already in their records and all you have to do is sign it on that tablet. But there's a big difference. The tablet is big as a regular bond paper, so "tanders" need not wear reading glasses!
If we compare this though, to how they do it at Waterfront Mactan (which is still manual), there's really nothing much of a difference for us the travelers. Why? Because, just the same, all we need to flex any muscles for is sign over our already printed names. Done! Compare that to many "so-so" hotels asking for many details during electronic booking, and when you check-in, you write all of them all over again!
So, for this check-in gadget ek-ek, Seda is the best (dahil bago)! Maliliit kasi yung sa iba!
After check-in, I quickly went up to my room to wash-up and prepare for my 'social obligation'..,That is/was my room, and.., I think I do not have so many things to say about it, other than.., Yeah!
So.., what now? As usual, when I have nothing else to say.., I give you a "photo-album"! Here we go!
Not sure what this was that I saw from my window. Is that Serendra? Hmm, if that is that, then behind it should be Market!Market! And somewhere there should be SM Aura (that I haven't been to yet, ever)!
Sorry naman, I have been a true-blue promdi for 6+ years now! At least I get excited seeing BGC again! In fact, when I migrated [to Cebu, circa 2009], this whole "village" was not yet commonly referred to as BGC but just "Fort Bonifacio" or "The Fort". Ah basta, don't ask me asa ang "da pept" or "da sext" hehe!
Oh, all pictures above were taken yesterday afternoon when I arrived at this hotel. While the following photos were taken as I wandered around the various service areas, from breakfast, until I left at noon.
