Purple Fountain and White Fence
They are 'technically' two business establishments - 1) an inn that is "Purple Fountain Courtyard Inn", and 2) a café (more of a restaurant to me) that is "White Fence Country Café" - in one big compound!Look, their signages are on top of each other. I think they have the same owner/s (or closely related).
In fact, you enter at/to the literally 'painted-white' fence of White Fence Café (ano pa nga ba di ba?)!And, upon entering that fence, you head left to the inn's ten or so lovely rooms, fronted by a cozy little courtyard with, (you guessed it) a purple-colored fountain. That 'house' you see is the café/restaurant!
I don't have any presentable photos of the rooms we occupied for two nights, and you would probably know the reason why hehe! I arrived on the second day.., that means anywhere inside of those rooms were already 1000% disheveled, to say the least! Why? Family eh, they're all like me, with no exception!
This was 'pamilya burara' on tour hahaha! By the way, you should/will have noticed, in this entire blog, 99.99% of my room accommodation pictures are/were taken immediately as soon as I entered for the very first time and have not touched a thing yet! That's how I capture the fresh look of a room I stay at!
Anyway, as for the rooms of Purple Fountain Courtyard Inn, I will dare say.., just believe what you see in their very own website and/or the positive reviews (is there even a negative one?) at other sites as I have seen all the types of rooms that they offer, since we stayed in six different rooms for two nights!
We enjoyed our stay here. Homey but luxe enough to be called an "inn". Should be a "boutique hotel"!
Here's a view of one end of the insides of White Fence Restaurant..,The restaurant's floor space covers what may have been the front yard of an old era house. I say that because, if you notice at left, a little below the chandelier, is a two-step stair and baluster of what may have been the original entrance to the house. In there is still a residence and the restaurant's kitchen!
The other end of White Fence Restaurant. Beyond that wall is already the courtyard and rooms..,Oh, the 4 lovely people facing the camera were our 2 drivers and 2 guides - who took responsibility for 3 days of our group's memorable fun and enjoyment in Puerto Princesa. They're all pros and excellent!
That photo above was 7:30ish on our 3rd day, breakfast before the underground river tour. Ah, my bad I forgot their names! Well the male guide is Richie Apiaza +639989886829, he was the lead guide and we needed to exchange numbers for a very important reason - that I will tell you later, in my next story!
I think I already previously mentioned that during reservations, I asked the Purple Fountain staff to do the tour arrangements for us (yes they do that), so other than the tips, we paid our tour fees to the inn.
By the way, while we were still going to the underground river tour, this was also (unfortunately) check out time from Purple Fountain Courtyard Inn as we needed a change of hotels on this day -- by design.
But let us discuss that in my upcomig stories, k?!
