That is how it looks today, the 3rd day of the new year 2017. I took this picture as my morning flight to Tacloban was leaving. The thing has started construction end of August 2015, if I remember correctly.
It's now already the start of 2017, they said the whole thing will be finished in 2018, so roughly about 2 years pa before we see (and hopefully) use a T2. Actually, mukhang maliit lang naman, ba't ang tagal?
Faster na, go go go na, we're so atat na!
This is a nearer vantage. Taken as my flight's aircraft taxied its way towards the end of the runway for takeoff. Blue arrow points to the new Terminal (T2) where work is in progress. Red arrow points to the airport's tower and further to its left (not anymore seen on this photo) is the "now" old terminal 1 (T1).
May they have more strength and speed this year! Go!
