The Bee at MCIA

Nothing fantabulous that I wanted to say, except that I chanced upon this fastfood chain inaugurating a store (counter) inside the domestic wing of Mactan Cebu International Airport (MCIA) this morning.
Effect on me? I lined-up for 2-pc chickenjoy even if it was just 8:30AM. No breakfast combo yet. Yum!

Heavy? Am on a long travel anyway. Going to Malaybalay, Bukidnon. So let's go! That's next!

It's my bus, our bus, your bus, their bus, everybody's bus! My oh my bus! I really thought I already did a story about this public transport facility from the Mactan Cebu Airport to the city and back. People’s Center of Tacloban Revisited

Who goes to the Sto Nino Shrine without glancing at the People’s Center beside it? Well, during this “revisit”, I did not only want to glance at it, I wanted to roam the place once again. Alright folks, for those not familiar with it, google will help a lot as there too are a lot of descriptions and images of it. The People’s Center actually simultaneously sprouted with the Sto Nino Shrine beside it. They were the twin attractions of the city during their heydays until the Marcoses were ousted from Malacanang – but that’s another topic that I might in the near future write about. I am not here to discuss that it is another extravagant thing commissioned by Imelda. That topic is already way too worn out. My visit was more for the what it was and what it is now! THE BOULEVARD, Surigao City

Virtually everyone in Surigao City is related to this boulevard directly or indirectly! It's such a big thing , they even have a Surigao City Boulevard Development Program and a Surigao City Development Authority . I'm not joking. Those are for real. As in! Involved in it are not only their local politicians but also the chambers of commerce. What is it anyway? Foremost it's a 1.8 kilometer stretch of a highway along the seafront. The concrete pavement tells me it is still new. That is it! Walang basagan ng trip! It is an emulation (kumbaga sa Tagalog pa: gaya-gaya ) of Roxas Boulevard in Manila, or pwede rin Dumaguete’s Rizal Boulevard - and many other seafront boulevards. Aside from being a “park” for the residents, it is supposed to be an attraction in the city, showcasing whatever bla-blah-blah to attract tourists from everywhere on earth.
