Bukidnon Business Hotel

logo and name at the façade of Bukidnon Business Hotel in Malaybalay
No pun intended, but that, for me, is the most beautiful thing at this hotel. Yes, the façade! Dainty nice logo, right? So for those who like to judge a book by its cover, this hotel easily fits the category's best!

I was not, and will not grow fond of this place.., but it was not abhorable either! I guess the fairest that I can say is it's a small hotel in the middle of Malaybaly, therefore an easy walk to anywhere in the city.

How about I just show you a photo-album, alright? Hahaha, as usual, when I have nothing to say!

This was my room 32.., no windows! And don't demand for a wider shot, I couldn't do it, masikip 'no!

You can get a sense of how big or small things are by comparing them. Example? The pillows and the beds, is your pillow as wide as your bed? Bed at right, yosi and gadget case (like a pencil case). Bed at left, the TV remote. On the floor, my weekend backpack - it occupies half the space between the beds!

I raised the camera (phone) as high above my head as I could for this shot!

Well, for the size of this room, that cabinet is wonderfully enormous hehe!

What will you put in that cabinet overnight? Ah, let's say two days, what do you keep there? Beer?

When I attempted typing on the notebook at that "desk", my forehead brushed with that CATV box!

Technique: sit on one bed, your back against the wall, put the stool in between the two beds, stretch your feet across to the other bed, sakto lang! But for 2 people, I'd think this is cramped and crowded!

In fairness, that cute and tiny air-conditioner up there, made this room too cold!

And this decorative frame on the wall (indigenous people's daily life) is psychologically cool..,

It kind of makes you tell your self "angal ka ng angal, tingnan mo sila, nabubuhay pa rin ng maayos at marangal". But your philosophical self will argue "bakit, nag-bayad sila ng P1,300 for a room"? Tapos!

It would probably be nice to 'experiment' walking drunk in this claustrophobic hallway..,

You will hardly fall, kahit susuray-suray ka na. One little sway, something will catch you - the wall!

This may also be cramped (obvious ba?), but I liked it here! Maybe because of the morning sun.

Not the hotel's fault, but there is something that should be strictly prohibited / outlawed at places like this tiny, and should be punishable by death. Tangina me umutot, heard all over the place! The guard?

I didn't know who, I didn't look in the direction of the "explosion". Ipa-barang ko sana! Umalingawngaw and heard by everyone alive, I'm sure of that. But at least, I am also certain hindi naman umalingasaw!

And what a series of catastrophes, after that "detonation".., my free breakfast arrived!

I am not a breakfast dude, but I can say "lami ra"! Note, there's a wad of corned beef hiding behind the cup of rice! The egg (eggs?) is hefty, but probably came from a "tetrapack", not a shell or shells, right?

I went outside to take a picture of the hotel's grand façade! Can you see it?

There, at right! About the width of the two vehicles parked in front of it. Half the width of Chowking?!

So, that is where I stayed overnight at Malaybalay this time. But it's better than Casa De Babano 'no?! I guess I am not whining since my room was clean, and the staff were generally friendly and attentive.

'Wag lang me umuutot!
