La Luna Beach Resort

This was an accidental find as described in my previous story. We arrived in the evening, and gave the 2 available rooms here to our lady companions. We proceeded onwards to Banago Beach Resort. But we regrouped here for dinner, and breakfast beside that pool!

Oh, you see that house-like structure on the water far beyond the pool? That's Banago!

But let's dwell on La Luna Beach Resort first. A small 2-level house with 4 rooms...

All 4 rooms are upstairs, 3 with lofts facing the sea and 1 at the back facing the garden. And where is the pool? Ah, across the road (left of this photo). But let us go there later!

Stairs going up to the rooms...

First you see is this non-aircon room facing the back of the house garden...

Then this, the 2nd level terrace with a sea view fronting all three airconditioned rooms

That is just part of the panoramic view from up at this terrace...

Red roof is the open air poolside dining area. There's a mini-bar (right edge of photo).

From the terrace's left edge, this is the view: bungalow where the owners' family lives.
They have a separate driveway! This one on lower left edge is the hotel's own driveway!

This is the loft of one of the rooms. Its also a queen-size bed up there...

Didn't take a pic of main bed. Occupants and their abubot's were scattered on the bed!

At ground level, girl is cleaning amid a hodge-podge of sofas and two dining tables
Hey, there's even a bed (actively used by the owner) behind that sala-set at upper right!

This is that corner behind the girl above. AM not sure what those things on display are...
I did not ask, nahiya ako, but they look like personal mementos of the owners and family.

This bar is in front of the girl above... lots of wine, surely enough for your every meal!
Oh meals are whipped up at that bright room on the left - their kitchen. They may at times call you in there to look and see if they're correctly preparing what you ordered.

The whole place feels like you just visited a relative's home! Except that, in here, they can whip up sumptuous Italian cuisine side by side with your regular Pinoy food. Oh well, you can pretend you visited the home of an Italian friend na masarap magluto!!

Let's go back to the pool. It's not a big one, just enough for a bunch to dip and relax...
But the views from this pool are amazingly gorgeous wherever you look. Oh, upper-left edge of this photo is a hint of Homonhon Island! Can you see it? That's where Magellan and his crews first made 'landfall' and declared these shall be called "Las Islas Filipinas"!

Turn around from the pool and the sea view, and this is what you see...
That is the open dining area. To the left - the nipa hut - is a bar, and of course you see the main building of La Luna back there! They're making a little hut to the right (not in pic) but I didn't ask what will it be when finished! Maybe a playhouse? Or a seaside room?

Hey this one is not common! Not even my companions noticed that there is this name...
You only see this if you go down to sea level at low tide and be observant like me hehe!

Okay, let's go to Banago next!
