Bali To Singapore On Jetstar Asia

Image
As I said in my previous post , "Our turn finally! Taking off at Runway 27, at 10:48AM..," Airborne! Banking right so we could cruise northwestwards to Singapore. That's Kuta Beach below.., The things in the seatpocket in front of me. Medyo mga gasgas na rin but better than Tiger Air ! Shhh, syempre andyan pasaporte ko.., I always place it in front of me para sure di makakalimututan! At 11:16AM, I checked the menu in my seat pocket, so I can order before I get hungry (it takes time). Look at the blue arrows.., gino-o ko, muntik ako humalakhak sa nabasa ko! Nyok Nyak, Jer-Jer, wala? I ordered the Singapore Chicken Rice - bannered as their Signature New Dish.., Maybe they finally heard, that it's the main staple on Air Asia (matagal na) and always sells briskly! But impressive ha? This arrived exactly 8 minutes after I ordered it! Nahuli na nila agad yung manok! I noticed they only bring you a plastic cup (no ice) together with the Coke. Meron naman, if you as...

Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali

Image
This was my last picture in the previous story . Yeah, I reached this airport without traffic.., Departure wing entrance is to the left. The structure at right is their parking building (Gedung Parkir). See this? At 8:31AM, I walked 'on the walkalator' from the curbside to the departure area alone! Some call this "Bali International Airport", others "Ngurah Rai International Airport. They're the same. Even downstairs (arrival area) was also not busy. Well, the elevator repairmen (in red) were busy hehe! For them to be repairing that elevator at this hour of the day, is an indication that it is not a busy time. Look, this is Ngurah Rai International Airport's Departure Lobby, devoid of crowds. How swerte of me! This is not common, even at domestic airports that I've been to. And Bali is a highly touristic province! At least there was the usual bottle-neck at the x-ray machines entering the check-in counters.., Otherwise, it was really a wel...

Jimbaran To Bali International Airport

Image
Going back home! Important, kailangang kailangan (daw)! I just flew from Bali to Singapore where I'm now transiting (again), going to Cebu, also just transiting there on to Tacloban. After a day there, it will be back to Cebu just transiting to Davao. After a day there also, back to Cebu, transiting to Singapore! Hectic! But come to think of it, I am just enjoying all these rush rush.., it is not everyday this happens! Let's take these 'hops' one at a time hehe (huhuhu, why am I frowning).., I left Jimbaran at 0818AM, going to Ngurah Rai International Airport! Parang ayokong tumingin :( Pantai is beach. The arrow says 'that way to Jimbaran Beach'. Ang sakit! I wanted to stay more. That's why di mai-drawing ang mukha ko this morning when I left the place. A big part of me was protesting! Anyway, what else can we do.., uwi daw eh, o di sige uwi! This was my last 3 minutes at Bali.., It was a breeze. I reached the airport without traffic whatsoever (con...

Intercontinental Bali Resort: My Room

Image
There is nothing much to tell about this resort, since most everything is already all over the web, right? But I will try my best, to say something as experienced, which I hope will not just be another duplicate! It's not just a simple luxury resort, it is sprawlingly wide. I estimate the length of the whole compound to be somewhere at about 500 meters. Yes, half a kilometer! What is my basis? Ah, my phone's health app said so when I checked how long I walked. The stretch, from street to beach is about 300 meters. Ayan, that's 300 x 500 meters, wider than a sports complex, sinlawak ng isang barangay! Lalaban? My room? eh I ran out of superlatives. Basta malaki. I might as well just show you pictures hehe.., I loved the wooden floor. No carpets, rugs, ceramic or porcelain tiles. Simple elegance - wood! I also liked it that they retained that olden tradition of having drinking water by the bedside.., Mind you, complimentary water in this resort comes in "glass...
