Han Gang Again
Hey folksie-folks, I was back at this Korean Restaurant called Han Gang in Pusok, Lapulapu. Not that I crave for anything in this place, but, by virtue of proximity, this has been (and still is) is my go-to (best choice) in Pusok area! I went there tonight! This time I had beef soup and a cup of rice. Like their other authentic Korean dishes I have tried before, this one tasted oh so good. This is also NOT spicy, thus, I liked it.
And, 'wheresoever' they get that from, the beef is of really good kind.
For you my readers who are (like me), not (yet) too familiar with K-restaurants, if you are also wondering what those 'little dishes' are for, I only call them "the trimmings"!
They're are the usual side-dishes this 레스토랑 serve together with whatever kind of main dish you order. Most of them I never dare touch. Why? Ayoko ng mahanghang!
That cute bastardized word 'mahanghang' comes from my nephew, at ginaya ko na!
Oi, there weren't many people eating during this visit! Just a table-of-four (Koreans) dining, and another table of 6 Pinays (mga Bisdak syempre) who were drinking soju!
On a Friday night, I enjoyed the barren-ness of this big place. In fact, I started writing this post at my table. It was quiet, save for the kee-at (harutan/landi-an) of 6 Pinays.
There are days when the restaurant is packed with busloads of Korean tourists. You can see their buses lining the street, all the way to that nearby Shell Gas Station and even also all the way to in-front of Papot's Barbershop & Store. Oh hello Konz Papot!
Anyway.., Han Gang (at times they write it Hangang) is a good K-Restaurant for me.
But, like many Korean or Chinese full/real restaurants, this one is not really "ideal" if you are alone. Why? Ah, the servings are too much for one mouth to devour hehehe!
That is as far as I'm concerned ha? It becomes aksaya if I order more than 1 dish on the menu (see the pic above for proof)! Eh isa lang lang naman ang bituka ko di ba?
Your yearning to taste as many dishes as you want is not optimized in just one visit - dahil bubundat ka, baka sumabog tiyan mo! You'll need to be back (like I did now)!
Oh well, 'til the next time.., to taste my 3rd dish!
