National Museum of Singapore
This is my 2nd post today, we're still on the last day of the year. Nothing much to do until fireworks at midnight, so I have time to blog. I am guessing I may even have more time for a 3rd or 4th story later!
So.., yes this is THE National Museum of Singapore, that I visited for a meeting this morning.., Meeting at the museum? Yes and No! The 'no' means I did not have business discussions with anyone while touring the museum. The 'yes' is because my meeting was at a restaurant in this building. There is such a thing here yes, sosy pa! That's even my next blog entry, nagpaka-sosy tayo. So, abangan yan!
This is not a mural nor a painting. It's a projection screen na pagka-lapad-lapad. Ibang klase, di ba?That lens-like circle on the map, in front of the two visitors.., gumagalaw at namamasyal yan! It moves around the map magnifying the areas it passes along. Like when you use a real lens on a printed map!
Oops, I won't regale you with what I saw or experienced at this wonderfully big museum, lest you lose interest going there. All I can say is: if you visited a year ago, be back and you won't be disappointed.
There are many new things to be amazed of and learn from in this museum. Well, if you haven't visited yet, go and find out. You will learn many things from the old 19kupungkupong to the hi-tech of today!
Have you heard about "The Story of the Forest"? Ah, a hi-tech walk, telling a heartwarming story..,I won't tell you details, but mapapa-nganga ka! They even have an app you can use only while in there!
Don't hesitate to tell me if you visited the National Museum of Singapore, let's compare experiences! Later (when I'm home) I'll post some of the pictures and video clips I took while touring this museum.
Meanwhile, let's go to the restaurant I was (here) telling you about! Yung meeting ko!
In my next story.
