Cosina Juan Luna 140830

Intro muna: I have been in Tacloban for sometime now, but this is my first time in this eatery. I guess I'll be back to this place more times in the future. Why? Because there are many choices - from the turo-turo style food, to fusion specialties. Everyday!

So this is Cosina Juan Luna, an old era property converted into a restaurant. There are actually two eating areas with corresponding menus, ambiance, and prices, of course!

This here is the inside of the above facade, a rustic turo-turo style eatery.

We might as well say, this is a 'sosyalin' kind of turo-turo hehe. Just look at the setup! Cozy and clean. Plus the food they offer, which are mainly Pinoy fares, are served in neatly arranged rows of either clay pots or tempered glass cooking trays or pots!

They serve dinner too, with a new set of equally delectable fares, mainly from their grills. Plus the ambiance with those yellow lights above and around you, accented by lighted decorative bottles on your table, endearing!! But wait for my story on this - as I plan to come back one of these days for dinner and beer!

I said above, two eating areas, right?! Inside that house is that other eating area...

That is the ancestral little house, circa the American era, and it survived Yolanda. The whole of it is like a quaint restaurant from the middle ages. It is air-conditioned, with a fine-dining kind of menu amidst antiquity that the owners had also in this house when it was still their residence.

I have been in there, for an inter-agency meeting, so I have no pics that do not show the faces of those in attendance hehe. Wait some time though, I also plan to be back here soon and have either lunch or dinner where I can be more free to shoot around hehe!
