From Resorts World To NAIA Terminal 2

This ride of only about 5 kilometers, took exactly 26 minutes. Yeah, that long! Ah yes, the world-famous Metro Manila traffic hahaha! Yet, I secretly wished for this ride to crawl a little bit slower! I wanted to see more. This was nostalgia time for me! Resorts World Manila and NAIA Terminal 3 Were Part of Villr Airbase How and why is that? Well, in my younger years, I often passed via this vicinity. This area we were departing-from was part of Villamor Airbase (earlier Nichols Airbase), until a big portion was expropriated in 1995 to become NAIA T3 and Resorts World . I do still remember many things here. For example, diagonally across HIE is PAFAM or the Philippine Air Force Aerospace Museum . It is technically just across the road. But I don't even know now, if one can go there by just crossing the road, as there are now three flyovers leading to, or from, various expressways and urbanities like BGC! NAIA 'Terminal 4' Now (20140827 Tiger Air)

This was the Manila Domestic Terminal, that became the Manila Old Domestic Terminal and is now fondly called 'NAIA Terminal 4' - am not sure yet if that is official. Quite some time already since I have last used this terminal as I often fly with PAL. Only the newer budget airlines and/or the domestic charter airlines still use this. It now has an "identity" from the inside. Yes, me 'concierge' pang nalalaman... oh ha?! I was excited coming to this airport for check-in. Why? Ah well, maybe for the nostalgia as this was the only domestic airport in Manila that I have known and used all my childhood life, up until college, and even when I started to be 'gainfully employed' as they say - ayan lumalabas na ang mga edad hehe. Part of that excitement was a chance to experience less crowds or long lines to the check-in counters since there are only a few flights that use this terminal nowadays! But I was wrong...
