The Plane That Tailed The Pope's, But Crashed

Do you remember the plane that veered off the runway and kissed the grass as it tried to take off just after Pope Francis' flight took off from Tacloban amid stormy weather? That was in 2015. There were many negative comments, allegations, criticisms etc., etc., instead of concern, pity or sympathy, right?

Well, we also know that all passengers and crew survived, right? But that plane is still quietly there!

What will happen to it, don't you wonder? Will it just stay there to rot in the clear view of the public? As if to keep reminding us all of that infamous day? If so, I guess it will be just fine to us madlang people!

I tried a blow-up of one of my pics.., the innocent piece of 'previously' flying metal now looks like this:

It still looks a good immaculate white - for public display or a la museum-like viewing purposes, right?

How about actually converting it into some kind of a restaurant or "park attraction"?!

If it became a restaurant, what do you suggest should be its name? Maybe something like: "The Pope Chaser Fine Dining Airplane Restaurant"? Or: "Papa Don't Leave Me Restaurant"? Pwede, right? Pwede!

If it becomes a museum or park attraction, how will it be called or described? Ah hahaha, maybe just "The Pope Chaser Plane"! Then followed by paragraphs describing the plane, its crew and passengers, AND, the circumstances during (and why) its hasty take off! Hmm, that would be educational, right?

In fairness.., I checked with the Aviation Safety Network Database, and I found no record of the wildly circulated reason on social media at that time, that the government executives (on board) purportedly demanded (some say "commanded") they be given immediate clearance for the plane to take off even if it was not time yet, due to "Papal Flight Protocol". Nothing to that effect is explicitly written there.

But then again...

Oh well... only heaven can tell... *wink* and another *wink*!
