Harold's Hotel: Cebu

Image
I was back in Cebu, and you might think I had a fill of 'a nothing to do' day off, right? Wheh ! I also really thought I would! However, another raket was waiting, and no I am not complaining, so I went for it. Go! The activity this time, brought me to Harold's Hotel in Cebu. Not that I do not know where this place is, as I often see it when passing by Gorordo or just along Escario where its signage can already be seen. But I've never been to this hotel, never even dreamed I will be, so I was excited to try "something new". That is how my Room 705 looked. I told my self 'well, for a business hotel, this is respectably good'! Here's more of the same room... photo album nanaman! Toiletries and amenities are complete and still hotel-branded which lately is getting to be uncommon. There's even still a bath tub, which, we know is not anymore a common fixture among newer hotels. Just like what you would normally have at famo...

Back To Cebu

After that short stint at MOA and my happy stay at Mictrotel MOA , time to head back to Cebu slovakia! This was an uneventful trip, nothing much, except that I, the promdi, noted a few things along the way! I saw interesting things like this JW Diokno Blvd. , which was non-existent the last time I passed here! What I do remember is: this was a "road under construction" where the conyos would hold drag races. On Macapagal Avenue (ah okay, I know this one), we climbed up to a skyway that is 'NAIA X' (I think). Ah, ang ilalim nito alam ko! We just passed by Quirino Ave. cor. MIA Road, Tambo, Paranaque. O ha?! The forking skyway? Left is Electrical Road, right is Sunrise Road papuntang gate ng Concorde Village if you were down at ground level! O, alam nyo ba yan?! Actually, both 'Electrical' and 'Sunrise' run along the side of a creek called 'estero' or 'Baclaran Creek' though its full name is Estero De Tripa De Gallina . FYI, ...

Microtel By Wyndham: MOA

I cannot identify (yet) what gives, but this hotel, in a fantastic Manila Bay location, near to fantabulous places, feels like it is just a little bit of a 'lower grade' (to me), than the other Microtels I have stayed at. Everything in there looks and feels the same. Services offered are just the same. Staff are friendly too. This one even has grander day and night views. Yet, I still prefer UP and Acropolis Branches! I'm not at all saying that I dislike this MOA branch. It is just that, I can't help but compare this one to its 'sisters'! Anyway, I arrived in the evening straight from MNL Terminal 3, and this was the view from my room! That is Conrad Manila just across the road, and Seaside Boulevard attractions, bars, restaurants, etc.! This was a nice cozy stay, I can't say much about it hehe. With a very nice vantage over Manila Bay. That's why I don't know why I felt the others are better. Maybe their hallways area a bit wider? Hahah...
