Cebu MyBus To Airport

Image
It's my bus, our bus, your bus, their bus, everybody's bus! My oh my bus! I really thought I already did a story about this public transport facility from the Mactan Cebu Airport to the city and back. It turns out, I've just been mentioning this conveyance in my stories, but never a full story about it. Sorry po, tao lang! Great and thanks, one of you my dear readers asked. So here I go with a story on my way to the airport! I walked from Sugbutel to the Radisson Blu / SM City area as this parking area is just beside them. This big wide parking lot is the "main" (start/end) station of the MyBus Service. That big fancy-looking building at the back is Bayfront Hotel . So if you're staying at any hotel near this area, MyBus is for you! In fact, since SM City is easily accessible by direct or connecting jeep routes, this place is very easy to reach. I know people (passengers or airline/airport employees) who take cabs only to/from this place, from/to t

Radisson Blu Cebu Hotel

I've blogged about this 5-star hotel a long time ago, when it was still new. And I have been checking-in here from time to time, for many years now. Then one of you my dear readers, asked for an update. So while I can say it's still the same Radisson Blu as before, I better show you pictures instead of stories! My view on the north-facing window. That is Bayfront Hotel across the big parking lot. You can see the big light-blue MyBus and their station inside the parking lot. The row of white cars at left are regular taxis lining up to SM City's "Entrance/Exit 5" - Radisson Blu. Looking east to the Mactan Channel, the view is mostly part of Cebu International Sea Port. Not clear in the picture, but I could see clear with my own eyes, the two Mactan-Mandaue

Signs Of Our Time 170303

The things we see around make life interesting! Here are more "sights" and "signs" I saw lately! I was having dinner with some colleagues at Café Lucia last night, when I glanced at this again... That is the Tacloban Astrodome, as if floating on the placid waters of Cancabato Bay. Mesmerizing! Then today, while passing along the maze of roads in V&G Tacloban, I said "wrong spelling wrong"! After laughing, my driver said it might just be how people in V&G spell that name. Wheh?! I insist it is a "wrong spelling wrong", as the streets around it are named San Francisco, Russia, Israel, Japan, Texas, Saudi Arabia, Nazareth, Minnesota, etc. They surely meant Riyadh. Nakalimutan lang yung "H" hahaha! Then I saw the entrance road to Bethel International School - one school for the 'alta sociedad' kids! I said "Church or Chapel International School "? My driver didn't answer, but I knew he could be saying
