Langkawi to Kuala Lumpur to Singapore to Cebu to Tacloban. Almost 35-hours of traveling by air, with enough rest stops along the way though (that's why it took almost 35 hours) and of course, fun! Aliw! Here we were at 11:08AM, traversing the side of the Langkawi runway, almost arriving at the airport. Runway is behind the camera. That is the sea fronting Pantai Hujung Airport (or in English that means The Beach at the End of the Airport/Runway ). Mind you, there are good white-sand areas down there! Look at the photo again, at the horizon level. You will notice there's some kind of a solid line that looks like as if it were a bridge or some road. That is what they call a "Wave Breaker". Breakwater kung baga sa atin. Parts of those wave breakers may still be visited via bikes, walk or jog. Some parts are rotting! Hey, I only realized now, this arch is permanent and made of cement.
