Let's continue the previous story -- still on my domestic flight from Danang (DAD) to Ho Chi Minh (HCM) aka Saigon (SGN) in Vietnam, with an onward international flight connection [transit or transfer] to Phnom Penh (PNH) in the Kingdom of Cambodia. This time with this: Nothing extraordinary really, I just noted that like many in the world, the dashboards of taxicabs in Vietnam are also now cluttered w/ many tech gadgets like that tablet. In the Philippines, the most common thing is still the smartphone for waze, grabapp or google maps, right? Very small screens! Maybe our drivers (still) have good eyes! This is Part 1 of the Sights & Scenes On My Iloilo To Cebu To Tacloban Flights. The final 2 legs of my Circle Trip , that brought me to Luzon, Mindanao, and back to the Visayas! Yep, flying back home to Cebu , but just in-transit to Tacloban . Let's Go! This was fun "so far" . An uncommon route. 'Di lang lamyerda , me kasamang work ! I'm writing this at the Cebu Mabuhay Lounge, waiting to board the last and final flight of this 'circle trip' back to Tacloban. == This story is a continuation ( topic #3 ) of a travel article I shared earlier == There are two kinds of these useless scanners as of now. There were even three, that third one was at every boarding gate - buti wala na ngayon. The 'first one' actually looks good (high-tech eh), and many passengers think it has significant use. The truth is, it's never needed! Why install it in an airport, when all it does is create a choke-point or another place where the weary passenger has to fall in line again. THAT is the ' first one '. As you can see in the picture there are three scanners. To the left (not in photo), after a building post is another three of them. That would make it six such useless nonsense. Those 6 scanners create a bottleneck of humanity to start (or add to?) the passenger's impatience or irritation.
