Sunsets are one of the best times to laze-around on Boracay's White Beach, and that was incidentally where we were! But we just checked-in past 4PM and were not yet in our beach garbs, said the friend!
True! We just threw our bags to our beds and rushed out of Astoria (as I demanded so), to once again witness the golden sunset of Boracay. Let's continue my travel from Tacloban to Cebu to Clark to Caticlan to Boracay!
Alright folks! Me and friend met at the Caticlan airport's arrival area, our separate flights arriving from Manila and from Clark in a matter of only 12 minutes apart! But we weren't there yet. Me boat ride pa!
Now let's cover our way from the airport to the island, and eventually to our resort. Let's continue my story from the previous article...
Oy, I didn't forget I had a connecting flight to Caticlan hahaha! Pasok ang iyong Dear Pinoy Traveler!
I just looked around those check-in counters (for whatever it is worth), since I was already holding my boarding pass to Caticlan, issued at Mactan. Yes, I left Cebu with boarding passes of my two flights na.

It's about time I visit a beach for it has been a while - I mean go to a beach for some R&R and not just to visit or pass-by because it was along the way of something else I was doing like this, this and this. I think the last time I stayed at a beach was in Glan. Aw, that was 5 months ago. So, let's go to: Boracay!
My way there, was a little complicated though, but I liked it, for the PinoyTravelerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15962351690370797210noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11433915.post-31907637044758158452018-11-17T23:00:00.286+08:002024-03-13T07:42:33.740+08:00Evening Views: Tacloban To Cebu
This was another of those days where I was returning from Tacoban to Cebu. A late afternoon flight on a sporadically rainy day. Nothing much I thought. But as I keep saying, every trip is different, even if it is on the same path you take everyday. Since I always have my phone, I still take pics here and there.
This time, a darker-than-usual day, I thought I'd play with the video - for PinoyTravelerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15962351690370797210noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11433915.post-4384481539291161672018-11-15T23:00:00.399+08:002024-03-12T07:46:57.861+08:00Ang Kawawang Baboy

I like dogs, in general. I can play with dogs that know how to play with people, and not bite them. I do not like the mongrel-stray-types, that bark for no reason at all - and ever ready to chew upon people.
I'm not a dog lover, if that means sharng a bed and my meals with them. I just like playing with them, not looking after their poo and/or grooming them or dressing them up like people. Kaonan means eatery. Carayman is a barangay in Calbayog City. Kaonan Sa Karayman is OMG superb.
It's a homely (native touches) restaurant that specializes in mostly Filipino foods like you see above. It is cozy and tidy everywhere, but you will see that undeniable mark of a frequented place. Let's continue my story from the previous post. While checking-in at Novotel, I got a call for a meetup in Taipei this evening. I could not say no. This was a friend I haven't seen in a long time. So I said GO!
I also needed to pass by the airport for some important arrangements, so I went there first. That is just a hallway from the MRT to the airport lobby, but I seem forever fascinated by PinoyTravelerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15962351690370797210noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11433915.post-70704839069405738882018-11-05T22:56:01.240+08:002024-01-24T00:38:35.073+08:00Out Of Kaohsiung Via The THSR
I'm done with Kaohsiung, let's head back to Taipei, still riding the HSR, just the reverse of how I came. You already know those pictures, right? The mall where the MRT Red Line (R16) Station is located, the bus stop where there's a nearby smoking open area, and the escalators going up to the THSR Station.
So I went up to depart. There are many more places to see or do in Kaohsiung that I had in mind, but I just did not have time. There were also some places I went to or passed-by, but I didn't or couldn't take pictures or videos of.
